Welcome to the Circus Brooks!

In the terms of my three-year-old.... "Here I areeeee"  The so-called "ring leaders" (although it depends on the day, sometimes I think the clowns are running the circus) have finally began to bob their heads above water: AKA, Brooks is sleeping through the night and we no longer feel like zombies.  Although, I think some form of sleep deprivation will always exist once you are in charge of a tiny human(s).  Let's just say we survive off coffee and alcohol (usually not together but no judgement folks if it is...)

I have fallen victim of "second child syndrome."  Brooks, I'm sorry that your official cameo in the blog hasn't come until you're almost three months old.  I swear, we love you just as much and find you just as perfect as your brother (although you don't talk yet and sleep a lot so you may currently be more adorable than him.)

Anyway, having a baby round two of a c-section has absolutely no drama.  There is no rush to the hospital, no wondering about labor and what to expect.  You simply wake up, shower, put your make up on, pose for some family photos and drive off into the sunset knowing in a few hours you'll have painlessly had a baby.  Simply delightful.

Brooks won our heart over the second we laid eyes on him, and I hate to say it Landon, the kid beat you out in the cute factor coming out of utero.  Thankfully Brooks came out looking absolutely, enormously, perfect.  It was rather refreshing looking at my child and not thinking he looked like he just got in a bar fight.

I think the best part of the entire experience though, was the anticipation of Landon meeting his baby brother for the very first time.  Of course my heart grew ten sizes, again, when I saw Kev hold our newest addition.  But I already know what a fabulous father he is, it's old news.  But Landon, watching the excitement, pride and joy that washed over his face the first time he laid eyes on HIS brother, it was a feeling a mother never forgets.

Landon is truly the best big brother, he loves him so much, that we often have to make sure that his love and admiration isn't going to harm him.  He loves to hold his hand, give him a million kisses, sit as close as humanly possible to his brother.  I feel like I should record all this love for 5 years down the line when they're physically attacking each other and I need a reminder that they really do love one another.

Okay, okay, enough of me blabbing on and on.  I'll get to everyone's favorite part... the pictures!
Brothers meeting for the first time.

Our complete family.

Going home!

The big helper!

Sometimes, having a new born is rough.

My boys.

Watchful big brother.

Landon's last day of 2's!

Morning snuggles.

Our family/newborn photos couldn't have turned out more perfect.

Landon turned THREE this summer.  Where oh where is time going!  We (bravely) had a construction party at our house.  It was perfect!!  The best part was absolutely the food truck!

Nothing better than when a baby starts smiling all the time!

Life is clearly rough here at the Freaney circus.

For the 4th of July we packed the kiddios up and headed to Lake Occonee.  It's one of our favorite places and so kid friendly.  We all had a blast!
Brooks clearly has this "lounging" thing down.

Whispering secrets to each other already.

Our attempt at a family selfie.

"Lemonlade."

Spending his 2 month birthday living it up, hotel style.

Someone clearly had a blast - as he slept past 9 every day.

Super heros to the rescue!

Cannoli LOVESSSSS his new brother.

Morning serenades.

Proud Cavs fans!
