Somebunny and His New Friends

Some "bunny" loves bunnies!

Back in January I saw a picture of a baby with bunnies, and it became my personal mission to find a photographer in Atlanta that did these adorable photos, without paying an arm and a leg.  After relentless hours of scouring the internet I found someone! The result, is the most adorable, die from cuteness, pictures.  Landon could NOT get enough of these bunnies, even though he was past due for nap time this babe couldn't stop squealing with delight at these new furry critters. Thankfully the bunnies were a lot more patient with Landon than his puppy brother.  To say that this pictures were well worth the money would be an understatement!

Can you believe we have a 9 month old baby?!?!  He's so close to his first birthday he can almost taste the cake!!!  Last week we had our usual doctor's appointment for shots and a check up... and the doctor said this babe is on the path of being a very tall gentleman!  He measured in at 30 inches, (93rd percentile) and 21 pounds (66th percentile.)  If he doesn't slow down he's going to be looking down at me by his 5th birthday!  Everything else checked out great, the doc said he's a happy, healthy baby!

Yummm, chicken, tomatoes and pasta... oh and a pup who is begging.

We were given the go ahead to start introducing proteins to Landon, chicken, turkey, cheese, filets, ribs, etc.  And so far he seems to love it.  It makes our lives so much easier to feed him tiny pieces of whatever we are having at dinner.  He seems so much happier to be eating something other than mush, especially since he can feed it to himself.

To Vedder's delight, Landon has learned that he can share with his brother and that his brother will actually pay attention to him if he's handing out pieces of food.  If I put some pieces of waffle in Landon's activity saucer in the morning and turn my back for two minutes I hear squeals of delight as Vedder is eating out of the palm of his hand.  Just today I watch Landon feeding his Vedder and when I asked him "Are you feeding your puppy food Landon?"  He looked at me, smiled and shook his head no.  I have a feeling these two are going to be rotten together and I'm going to have my hands full....

What are these new bars for?

Much to everyone's dismay the baby gates in the house have been installed.  Landon thinks it's hilarious to sit at the gate and shake them like he's a prisoner in jail.  Vedder tends to miss the boat and gets himself locked out of the upstairs often and you'll just hear these pathetic cries from the top of the stairs that say "Helpppp."  It's a huge relief to have them up and running so we no longer have to worry about Landon's adventures ending in falling down a set of stairs.  Instead he can stay on track of tormenting his brother by chasing him around the house.

We have a VERY curious child.  He wants to know how everything works and will sit for an hour trying to figure out whatever it is that's perplexing him.  It's so entertaining to watch his little brain work and to see his intense focus!  And to his credit, most of the time I think he figures it out that he went in search for!

We have ONE tiny, pearly white coming up.  The tooth is officially through the skin but it's taking its good ol' time coming into full force.  Kev and I check first thing every morning to check the progress of this tooth, it's so exciting to hit each new milestone.  Although if he could not be so cranky over the teeth coming in that would be wonderful.

I think it's time we put the ol' favorite bouncing chair away...

Vogue pose.

Big boy cup for a big boy!

We still haven't figured out straws.

Oh hey mom, I'm just hanging out, working on my back stroke.

Parent's just want to have fun.

And Landon just likes to flirt.

Oh Hey Mickey, playing in laundry baskets is my favorite.

I'll never let go mom!

Playing in my diaper is always the best.

Landon and Daddy came down to watch mommy finish her fourth half marathon, and her best time yet!

I have a personal stylist. He does hair, makeup and styles.
